The Brazilian Grand Prix was Honda's finest day in Formula 1 since teaming up with Red Bull and Toro Rosso, as they achieved a one-two, courtesy of Max Verstappen and Pierre Gasly.
Verstappen was a class above the rest of the field all weekend, winning his third Grand Prix of the season from pole position. Gasly meanwhile benefitted from the chaos that denied Alex Albon a podium, to finish second, and his delight was evident in the post-race celebrations.
After a rough spell with McLaren, Honda appear to be making good strides with Red Bull and their results in Germany and now Brazil standout. Christian Horner is hopeful the good form they're showing in the closing stages of the season will see the engine manufacturer extend their stay in Formula 1.
"I think is very important," Horner told Autosport.
"Honda is seeing great progress and I think they can really see [the reward] after five years of commitment and effort.

"You have to remember how things were when they came back into the sport.
"I think that they have done a great job in keeping their heads down with great passion and pride to get themselves into this position."
Toyoharu Tanabe shares Horner's optimism, adding: "I hope this result impact our future with a positive side. I'm not involved in the process of the decision. Our board members are working on that. When we are ready, we will announce."
