Rain expected during the Dutch GP: Early weather forecasts promise a wet race weekend

There's a week left until the Dutch Grand Prix weekend in Zandvoort begins, and it's thus too early to draw conclusions on the current weather forecasts. However, those looking further ahead will see that early weather predictions indicate a potentially wet race weekend.

Early weather predictions from various sources indicate a significant chance of rain on all days.

On Friday, there is already a chance of showers, ranging from 60 to 85 percent probability.

The same pattern is noticeable on Saturday, the qualifying day. Temperatures are expected to be between 18 and 20 degrees Celsius.

On Sunday, the day the Dutch Grand Prix is scheduled, and rain is also expected.

Where one source predicts a 60 percent chance of rain, another mentions odds as high as 95 percent.

In terms of temperature, it is expected to remain cool around 18 to 19 degrees Celsius.

With a week to go, things may still change, but so far there seems to be rain forecasted for the Formula 1 weekend at Circuit Zandvoort.

Good news for those watching the race at home, but perhaps not such good news for fans traveling to the circuit.

Although the rain in 2023 didn't dampen the atmosphere at the circuit and will undoubtedly be the same this year, it's a good idea to bring an umbrella and poncho nevertheless.
