Sergio Perez didn't have an easy start to the Red Bull Racing season. He failed to reach Q3 in qualifying and to make matters worse he had to start from the pit lane due to an electronic problem. On Sunday, he fought his way back up to fifth place.

Perez sees constant improvements

At Thursday's press conference in Imola, he talks about where he still sees improvements. "With every mile I drive I find improvements," Perez said, quoted by Sky Sports. "There is still a step to take in terms of adapting to the car in different conditions, that can only help."
A question sent in by a fan outlines a scenario in which the drivers have a time machine at their disposal. Which race would he like to drive, and at which team? "I would like to be Senna's teammate, in the wet race that was red flagged," says Perez.
In any case, Perez goes into the upcoming Grand Prix weekend with a good feeling. "After one weekend you already know a lot more about where you can improve. We can see that the car has a lot of potential and that we should be able to fight for the championship," Perez said.
