Lando Norris’s maiden drivers’ championship victory has continued to make waves in the Formula 1 scene, and the internet wasted little time reacting to the triumph of the McLaren driver.
The British driver, who finished third at the Abu Dhabi Grand Prix, claimed the drivers’ title with 423 points, just two points ahead of Max Verstappen in second place and 13 points ahead of his McLaren teammate Oscar Piastri.
Norris, who secured the first McLaren drivers’ title since 2008 with Lewis Hamilton, has not hidden his excitement, expressing how gratifying it feels to win the championship in what he describes as the “Lando way,” while also hinting at how he plans to celebrate.

Title challenger Verstappen was also gracious in defeat, congratulating Norris and expressing pride in the Red Bull Racing outfit, particularly for the resurgence they showed in the second half of the campaign.

The four-time world champion also talked about his race engineer, Gianpiero Lambiase, for praise, highlighting how their relationship has largely evolved into a friendship.
