Norris steals the show in Miami with new helmet: "Baller alert"

In Formula 1, the drivers always find an opportunity to wear something different than usual. In Miami, Lando Norris appears at the start with a playful new helmet design.

Sometimes there's a birthday to celebrate, other times it's a home race, in Formula 1 drivers and teams experiment. Red Bull Racing once made Max Verstappen and Daniel Ricciardo wear lederhosen, and Mercedes dressed up for its 125th anniversary in clothing from that period.

The drivers can also do something with their helmets. McLaren driver Norris, in particular, always knows how to bring a playful helmet to the right occasion. For the Miami Grand Prix, the Brit once again seems to have found the perfect head protection. We are looking at a basketball and it is fortunately almost the same colour as his car.
