Lando Norris was not a happy man after Saturday afternoon's qualifying for the Canadian Grand Prix. Fellow Brit, Damon Hill, was less then pleased with the McLaren driver's performance as well.
At the start of the 2025 season, hopes and confidence ran high for Norris as he eyed his first ever Drivers' title. However, since round two of the Formula One world championship. the Briton has failed to deliver the expected results, particularly in qualifying.
This was no less true during qualifying for the Canadian Grand Prix where Norris seemed to be in top form until Q3 came along. When oush came to shove, the Briton again made inexplicable error after error, overshooting the final chicane during his first run, then putting in a sloppy lap in his second run which was only good for P7.
Former F1 champion, Damon Hill, often critical of Max Verstappen, has now turned his attention to McLaren driver Lando Norris. Following the qualifying session at the Circuit Gilles Villeneuve the former Sky Sports pundit took to X to share his thoughts on the driver of the #4 car's performance on Saturday afternoon. "Lando, Lando, Lando, @LandoNorris what are you doing?"
