Kimi Räikkönen is in the final phase of his Formula 1 career. The driver is driving for Alfa Romeo this season, but it is still unknown if this will still be the case next year. The Finn is waiting for the team's decision.
Robin Räikkönen, his six-year-old son, has now also found his father's hobby, making the comparison with Jos and Max Verstappen quick. "I don't want to go that far yet," he responds however in conversation with F1-Insider.com. "At the moment he rides a go-kart fervently and loves everything that has an engine. Sometimes he does a whole afternoon of laps, sometimes less because he feels like doing something else."
Although the Finnish driver would love it if his children got into motorsport, he's holding off for now. "The same goes for my youngest daughter, by the way, who is also starting to take an interest in everything that moves. I will certainly encourage anything they like. Doesn't matter what it is. But I won't force anything."

World Championship standings

Räikkonen scored two points for his team in the first half of the season. In Azerbaijan and Hungary, he finished in tenth place, which puts him in seventeenth place in the world championship.
