New McLaren livery compared to 2021: these stand out the most

McLaren presented on Friday its new car for the 2022 Formula One season: the MCL36. The most eye-catching feature is the bright colors. With its "papaya orange" and light blue accents, the car will not be missed on the starting grid. What are the biggest differences from the 2021 MCL35?

The blue accents have given way to even bluer ones. The bright orange McLaren now features lighter, almost fluorescent blue colors along the side of the car, as well as on the front and rear wings.

The new livery is somewhat reminiscent of the special livery the team drove once at the 2021 Monaco Grand Prix. There, retro was combined with modern, resulting in a color combination of bright orange and white.
