Max Verstappen could set the fastest time in a FP1 session for the first time this season, however, there was a hairy moment for the Dutch driver with Lewis Hamilton.
During FP1, as Verstappen began to accelerate towards the hairpin, the seven-time world champion left him little room. As a result, the Red Bull driver also had to partially go on the grass.
Over the team radio, the defending world champion said: "****, not giving a lot of space."
However, this time, Hamilton does not need to worry, as the aforementioned incident was not noted by the stewards.

Hamilton penalised for impeding Verstappen in Monaco

Two Grands Prix ago, Hamilton already received a three-place grid penalty for impeding Verstappen in qualifying. Back then, the Dutchman said about the Ferrari driver: "Lewis is normally always quite correct with these things, like moving out of the way and no one really wants to impede anyone on purpose."
