Lewis Hamilton and Riccardo Adami do not seem to be gelling well, as the pair again seemed to have problems at the Monaco Grand Prix, with the race engineer ignoring the seven-time world champion.
After his penalty on Saturday, Hamilton was forced to start the race in P7, then, having jumped two cars in the strategy game during the race, the gap to the front runners, was substantial (51 seconds at the flag).
Hamilton asked his engineer if the gap to the leaders was over a minute long. Although his race engineer did reply, he did not answer the seven-time world champions question, to which Hamilton reacted annoyed: "You’re not answering the question. It doesn’t really matter I guess, I’m just asking if I’m a minute behind or not.”

Adami replies to Hamilton's question with silence

After the race came to an end, Hamilton, perhaps prompted by Adami's silence, asked: “Are you upset with me or something?” The silence, however, remained.
Communications between Hamilton and Adami have reached a new low point, with the pair getting off to a rocky start to their relationship already in Australia, with Miami being a rather contentious one, with Hamilton telling Adami to 'have a tea while you're at it' regarding Ferrari's slow reaction to the team orders the Briton was asking for.
Now in Monaco the pair have hit a new wall, fueling rumours of a rift between the two.
