Mercedes reveal their testing lineup

Mercedes will go into the 2020 season as strong favourites to retain both World Championships and their quest for victory starts in Barcelona. The constructor have revealed their schedule for the first day of pre-season testing.

The world of Formula 1 has become used to seeing Mercedes dominate at most races in recent years and they'll be expected to do exactly that in 2020 given their winning margin last season. First and second in the Drivers' Championship, last season ensured another comfortable victory for the team.

Mercedes have revealed their lineup for their opening day of testing with Valtteri Bottas and Lewis Hamilton taking on the AM and PM respectively.

The Silver Arrows are notorious for playing down their car when they arrive at pre-season.

Bottas pushed Hamilton to the US Grand Prix last season before the Brit wrapped up his sixth Drivers' Championship. The Finn will be hoping to improve on his showing last season which saw him secure four race wins. Hamilton meanwhile will be looking to equal Michael Schumacher's record of seven World Championships.
