The Las Vegas Grand Prix has been a fan favourite since its introduction into the
F1 calendar in 2023, producing exhilarating moments and on-track as the teams and drivers fight the cool temperatures as they roar through the famed Strip of the entertainment capital of the world.
In the 2024 edition of the Grand Prix,
George Russell drove to a dominant victory, as his then teammate Lewis Hamilton came back from the midfield to make it a 1-2 for Mercedes, who are expected to be highly competitive in Nevada once again.
Ahead of what is largely believed to be Mercedes’ biggest success of the whole of the 2024 season, the German team and Adidas have joined forces to create a distinct Las Vegas GP merch line vindicating the spirit of the calendar’s latest landmark race.
"Las Vegas is renowned for its unique vibrancy - a city defined by its unmistakable energy and spectacle,” Michael Batz, Adidas motorsport category’s General Manager, said.
“Inspired by the fun and color that the city has to offer, the new collection brings this energy to life with style-first pieces suited for the grandstands, and beyond."
“Blending nostalgic design codes with the joyous chaos of the race weekend and the rich sporting culture of the U.S., we can’t wait to see the fans wearing the new collection during race weekend and beyond,” he concluded.
A special edition all-black cap highlighting Russell's 150th Grand Prix start, which he will attain next weekend at the Las Vegas GP, is available for purchase at Merces' online store, along with graphic designed t-shirts, sweaters and more.
Schumacher thinks Mercedes could affect Verstappen’s title chances
Ralf Schumacher believes a Max Verstappen title in 2025 is unlikely under normal circumstances, calling his chances an “outside” one as the four-time world champion trails Lando Norris by 49 points and Oscar Piastri by 25 with three races and one Sprint left to go in the 2025 season.
The German analyst thinks that Mercedes’ form could place other drivers between Verstappen and the McLaren drivers Norris and Oscar Piastri.
