McLaren liveries over the years: is the MCL60 the best looking car?

The car launches are officially over halfway now that McLaren has presented the MCL60 for 2023. To what extent has the livery changed from previous years? GPblog lists the colour schemes of the past five years.

In terms of livery, there are no very drastic changes to be seen with the MCL60. The colour combination remains predominantly papaya orange with blue and black accents. However, compared to the 2022 MCL36, there is slightly more black.

The biggest change in recent years underwent the car last year. With the MCL36, the Woking-based team chose to make the blue accents lighter and brighter in colour. In the Formula 1 seasons before that, the livery colours looked pretty much the same.
