Verstappen reveals 'very exciting' plans for 2026

Having achieved four world titles in F1, Verstappen is a role moder for many young talents. However, given how expesive the world of motorsport is, let along reaching F1, the Dutchman is trying to make sim racing more attractive.
This way, Verstappen hopes to create an alternative route for youngsters to make their dream of a career in motorsport possible. For example, he is currently helping his Team Redline teammate, Chris Lulham to get to a 'real' seat as well. Lulham previously competed in karting, but switched to sim racing at 16.
"This will already happen next year, that we’ll bring a simracer into the real world. We’re preparing right now and it’s very exciting. For me seeing young talent be quick on the sim, in real life seeing them drive a real car for the first time. It’s something I get a lot of enjoyment from," Verstappen said to the Track Limits podcast.
