Max Verstappen doesn't think front row is realistic for Red Bull in China

Red Bull's Max Verstappen doesn't think he'll be able to qualify on the front row in China tomorrow, as the Dutchman explains the Ferrari's power advantage on the straights is massive compared to the rest of the grid.

Verstappen fancies himself to take on Mercedes but doesn't think Ferrari will be beatable on one-lap pace, with the SF90 simply running away on the straights. In Bahrain, it was revealed Ferrari won a whopping four-tenths just on the straights compared to Mercedes.

"We've seen that Ferrari wins a lot of time on the straights, so it'll be tough for us to get close," Max told Ziggo Sport.

During FP2, Verstappen was overheard complaining about his differential, but this shouldn't be an issue come tomorrow.

"We're still allowed to change all kinds of parts, so I don't think we'll have problems with that," he concluded.
