Max Verstappen was behind Charles Leclerc in the qualifying simulations during practice day for the Australian Grand Prix. In the second practice session, Verstappen was nearly four-tenths down on Charles Leclerc, who made a rock-solid impression. Helmut Marko, the external advisor reflects on this.
Helmut Marko said after practice that Ferrari used the engine's full power during qualifying runs. Red Bull Racing did not, the Austrian reported. Marko did admit, however, that Leclerc's long run was impressive. The conclusion: "Red Bull still has work to do in terms of set-up," he told the German branch of Sky Sports.

Marko sees calm returning at Red Bull

Max Verstappen is getting tired of the hassle at Red Bull. Marko reveals that things within the team are now slowly returning to normal. Meanwhile, Marko believes Verstappen has no reason to leave Red Bull as long as the team gives him a competitive car.
