Kevin Magnussen has said that Liberty Media shouldn't listen to the drivers when it comes to making new plans for 2021, as all drivers are selfish in their remarks.
After the Australian Grand Prix, many fans and drivers came out and criticized Liberty Media for how boring the race was, due to lack of overtaking or any excitement at all. Red Bull's Max Verstappen even said that if he was watching the race he probably would've turned it off. The extra DRS-zone on Albert Park didn't work. Magnussen, however, thinks that we shouldn't panic after just one race.
"We've had just one weekend of racing and everyone's already screaming for change," K-Mag said.
"Then the races become boring because overtaking will be too easy.
"Liberty shouldn't listen to us [the drivers], but just do what they think is best."
Fans seem to be in favour of changes too, but the Dane doesn't seem to share that sentiment.
"I don't care if a race is fun, I just want to win.
"With the extra DRS-zones, you just pass someone without any effort, that doesn't make for fun battles for the drivers."
Does Magnussen have a point? Or is he just salty from the way the Australian Grand Prix ended?
