The Australian Grand Prix is still due to go ahead despite the coronavirus fears. The event remains under pressure and local residents in Australia have now started protesting against the event.
Earlier it was announced that someone in the Albert Park Hotel next to the circuit was infected and some team members are now in isolation in their hotel room with fever symptoms. The concerns about this have meanwhile led to the 20 drivers being in contact with each other via email.
The Sun reports that the drivers in that mail have expressed their concerns about an apparent lack of measures to protect their health. It is now known that fans and journalists will be kept as far away as possible this weekend. It's unclear if this was at the request of the drivers.
