Liam Lawson is assured of a spot at Red Bull Racing or Visa Cash App RB, Helmut Marko hinted ahead of the Grand Prix weekend in the Netherlands. However, Christian Horner argues that the Austrian was a bit premature in saying so.

Horner provides no clarity

"Well, nothing is nothing is fixed," Horner responded to Sky Sports News when confronted with the fact that either Sergio Perez or Daniel Ricciardo will then be out of the race in 2025. Indeed, Max Verstappen and Yuki Tsunoda are also already sure of a seat. "At the moment, we've still got a few weeks to to. Well, nothing is nothing is fixed."
Red Bull's team principals shrouds himself in mists. "Obviously, we know the situation with Checo and then obviously the contract that he has. I think with Daniel and Liam, there are options within their agreements that obviously we're not going to talk about in public until things are concluded."
Lawson made his Formula 1 debut at Zandvoort last year. There (and in the weeks that followed) he replaced Daniel Ricciardo, who got injured that weekend and had to miss some Grands Prix with a broken hand. The New Zealander is currently Red Bull's reserve driver.
