A filmmaker with a soft spot for Ronnie Peterson, Gilles Villeneuve, Mika Hakkinen and above all, Tazio Nuvolari and Ayrton Senna, is also a diehard Formula One fan since the age of 4 (mid-90's). Lewis Hamilton has suffered his first early exit of qualifying this year, being pushed out of Q2 in the final moments of the session.
The British driver did not have the best of sessions during Miami qualifying. Since Q1 Hamilton had to try mitigate the time lost around the lap in the final corner. It didn't work out as planned in Q1, but the Briton managed to pull through.
However, he was not as lucky during Q2, when in his final push lap he tried to take a bit more risk in Turn 17, which did not pay off at all, as Hamilton went wide on the exit defining a rather woeful qualifying session in Florida.
