Leclerc with drivers to amusement park: "Good way to relax"

In the previews of the teams in the run-up to a Grand Prix, it is often about updates, expectations of the race and possible reviews of previous races. Charles Leclerc, however, thinks mainly of something else at Sochi.

When asked, there are two things that Leclerc has to think about at the Grand Prix in Sochi; the long straight and the roller coaster. He explains: "I remember the first time I went there with Formula 1, back in 2018. I met up with some of the other drivers whom I am friends with and went on some of the rides. It was a really good way to relax before starting our weekend activities.”

As is often the case in Formula 1, qualifying on Saturday is essential this weekend. "The first target for all the drivers will be to get the most out of qualifying and secure a good position on the grid, as it is not easy to overtake there.” Finally, the Ferrari driver is also pleased that there will be more fans present this weekend. "I hope that we can put on a good show for them."
