Looking back at the recent Spanish Grand Prix Charles Leclerc is not only satisfied with his P4 on the Barcelona-Catalunya circuit but he also knows that the performance of the Ferrari on the classic track gives hope for the Monaco Grand Prix. In an interview, the Monegasque explains what he thinks.
"As a team, we did a really good job, everything went perfectly", Leclerc is quoted as saying on the official website of Ferrari. "We see that we have made a lot of progress compared to last year, and this is a credit to everyone working so hard back at our factory in Maranello."

Hope for Monaco

The specific upgrades the Italian outfit managed to carry out in Spain give hope for the Monaco Grand Prix, the driver went on to argue: "We were quite strong in the third sector, which is very technical. Hopefully, that’s a positive sign for Monaco. Since the beginning of the season, we seem to be strong in the slow corners, so I am crossing my fingers that it will stay that way."
"I am really looking forward to my home race. Seeing fans there in the grandstands will be amazing and I hope to be just as competitive there", said Leclerc.
