Leclerc muses on Silverstone: "Reminds me of two things."

Charles Leclerc is also happy to start the second triple header of the season with Ferrari. The 22-year-old Monegask is just like his colleagues crazy about the ciruit in Great Britain and calls Silverstone impressive.

"When I think of Silverstone, the speed of the circuit is my first association. The Maggots-Becketts turns are particularly impressive. I also have to think of the cold. Due to the changing conditions it is a challenge to predict how the race weekend will go", says Leclerc on the Ferrari website.

Leclerc and his team want to learn from the results at the first of the two Grands Prix at Silverstone. "We need to lay a good foundation in weekend one, on which we can build towards the second race. During the opening days we need to learn as much as possible to make good progress".

In his Ferrari, Leclerc hunts for reparation, after dramatic races in Styria and Hungary. Leclerc finished fourth in the World Championship last season and hoped to improve on that performance this season, but is lagging behind due to the poor start. Last season he finished on the podium, after securing third place.
