Lammers not convinced by Leclerc’s response

Charles Leclerc was at fault for the opening lap incident involving himself Max Verstappen and Sergio Perez. Max Verstappen and Sergio Perez were the victims. In retrospect he admitted he was wrong, but not in a convincing way for Jan Lammers.
"Admitting it is beautiful and noble, but of course it does not achieve anything," said Lammers in the NOS Formula 1 podcast. "You can't undo it and someone else will be punished for it. I also thought that he explained his mistake in a favourable way. He confessed, but only in part."

Toto Wolff admitted his mistake better

"He said: 'Yes, I didn't expect Perez to turn in there' and then I think: there's a right turn there, so you could have expected that, but he does soften it for himself. It's not like Toto Wolff who admits afterwards that the pit stop was a monumental fuck up. Well, so was Leclerc's moment."
