Charles Leclerc has never driven on the Circuit de Gilles Villeneuve, but the rookie has high hopes for debut there with Sauber.
Leclerc has never physically been on the track in Montréal, but he has experience there on the simulator.
"I enjoyed the track on the simulator very much, so it'll be a cool experience to race there in real life for the first time," he told The Checkered Flag.
"We've seen what we're capable of over these last weekends, and the layout of the circuit is favourable to the Sauber car.
"We've seen our potential in the past few weekends," he repeated.
Leclerc has been very good in the first six races of the season, having grown into his role after struggling in the first two races. He's been beating his teammate Marcus Ericsson consistently and even finished sixth in Baku (in a Sauber!). Who knows what this boy will be capable of in Canada.
