Former F1-pilot Daniil Kvyat has been out of the spotlight since being let go by the Red Bull family at the end of 2017, but the Russian has said that he feels "better than ever".
F1-reporter André Venema ran into Kvyat on Charles de Gaulle airport and quickly asked the Russian how he was doing.
"I've never felt as good as I do now," he responded.
Ever since Kvyat was replaced by Max Verstappen in 2016 at Red Bull, he's been in a downward spiral. He was set back to Toro Rosso and never really did well anymore, and he eventually got put on the reserves bench at the end of 2017. At the end of last year, he was let go.
Ferrari picked him up to be a testing driver for them, and he's been doing that for this year. The chances that we'll ever see Kvyat in the F1 again, however, are very slim.
