Brendon Hartley is certainly under a lot of pressure for his seat at Toro Rosso, but the Kiwi is still optimistic about his debut in Canada this weekend.
On the Toro Rosso website, Hartley revealed that his colleagues have told him repeatedly how good of a track Montréal is.
"I've been told by every driver that this circuit is one of the highlights of the year," he said.
"So we're going from the one [Monaco] to the other.
"It's also a street circuit and I love those."
Honda will be deploying a big upgrade in Canada which has been rumoured to have a big impact on the STR-13's performance. The Honda engine should be way more powerful, and the aerodynamics of the car have also been tweaked.
"Everything seems to work and the team is working hard behind the scenes to squeeze as much power out of the engine.
"I'm optimistic about coming weekend."
