Liam Lawson looks set to drive qualifying for the Australian Grand Prix after experiencing engine related issues during the third free practice session, however the porblems that kept Lawson inside the Red Bull gargae for the majority of the session seem to have been fixed.
Red Bull Racing has confirmed that the engine is in optimum condition, and it is assumed that Liam Lawson can, therefore, take part in qualifying as planned. The problem was said to have been with the turbocharger, but after the session, Marko revealed that the team had found the cause.

Challenge for Liam Lawson

However, Lawson will still have a tough qualifying session. His teammate, Max Verstappen, fared better in FP3. The setup changes made by Red Bull Racing seem to be working well, but unfortunately for Lawson, he could not try them during the third and last hour of practice ahead of qualifying at Albert Park, a track he's never driven at before.
Things do look better for the team. Where they seemed to be lagging behind on Friday, Verstappen was in the top three during FP3 showing strong pace over a lap. Qualifying will show if Lawson can benefit as much as his four-time world championship winning teammate.
