Nicholas Latifi announces that he was almost dehydrated after the Monaco Grand Prix. The Canadian driver forgot to attach his drinking tube to his helmet.

No water during the race

It was a very tiring Sunday for Latifi. The Williams driver revealed that he had no drinking water during the 78 laps in Monaco. Latifi had a great race, but had to work hard for it. It was only towards the end of the GP that he found out he had no drink during the race.
"I found a nice rhythm and can also be satisfied with my tyre management. But at the finish I noticed something was wrong with me, my mouth felt so weird," Latifi is quoted by Speedweek.com.

"In the hustle and bustle before the start I had completely forgotten to connect my drink tube! I was so focused on my work that I forgot. When I came out of the car my throat was burning, I was dehydrated," said Latifi. The Canadian owes getting to the finish mainly to his physical condition he thinks.
