Lando Norris produces McLaren's best qualy result since Alonso's P7 in Monaco

British rookie Lando Norris reveals his delight after producing McLaren best qualifying result since Fernando Alonso's P7 in Monaco. Norris believes the team can kick on from the result and continue to "move forward".

Norris qualified in eighth for the Australian Grand Prix tomorrow. From his interview on F1i, it's clear he enjoyed his first meaningful Formula 1 session.

"I think it’s massive to see that it is possible to do it and we have in some ways moved forwards from last year. Not as much as we need. I feel like I really maximised everything, not completely, but to an extent," he said.
