Norris makes off-track business move as he joins £20m investment round

Lando Norris has added premium ticketing platform Seat Unique to his investment portfolio, joining a £20million funding round as the British company targets a £500 million valuation.
The McLaren driver has taken a stake in the business, which sells official premium tickets and hospitality experiences for sporting and entertainment events.
According to Sky News, the funding round was completed earlier this year. Neither Norris’s individual investment nor the size of his shareholding has been disclosed.

Norris joins familiar sporting names

Norris invested through The Players’ Fund, an athlete-led investment vehicle whose stakeholders include England football captain Harry Kane and cricketer Ben Stokes.

Existing Seat Unique shareholder Nickleby Capital led the funding round. The company’s other backers include former England bowler Stuart Broad, presenter Maya Jama, comedian Jack Whitehall and actor Daniel Kaluuya.
For Norris, the deal represents an investment in a sector familiar to Formula 1, where premium seating and exclusive hospitality are a significant part of the race-weekend experience.
Seat Unique chief executive Robin Sherry welcomed the driver’s involvement, describing it as “a powerful endorsement of where this business is heading”.
Sherry said customers increasingly want official access to live events, memorable experiences and confidence in the ticket-buying process.

A £500m target is not a confirmed valuation

Seat Unique is aiming for a £500 million valuation as part of a growth strategy that includes a target of £350 million in annual revenue by the end of a three-year period.
Those figures are ambitions for the business, rather than a disclosed valuation attached to Norris’s investment.
Acquisitions and commercial partnerships form a central part of the expansion plans. The company has already acquired P1 Travel and Circuit Hospitality, with further deals reportedly under consideration.
Its ticketing portfolio includes Wembley Stadium, Manchester’s Co-op Live and 16 racecourses within the Arena Racing portfolio. It also holds distribution rights for UEFA Euro 2028 and the scheduled heavyweight boxing contest between Anthony Joshua and Tyson Fury.
A global partnership with Trip.com Group is intended to support Seat Unique’s expansion into Asia-Pacific markets.

Norris’s financial commitment remains private, but his involvement adds another prominent sporting name to the company’s investor line-up as it pursues those growth targets.
