Philippe Bianchi, father of the late Jules Bianchi, has confirmed that his son's go-kart has been found after it was stolen last week.
Posting on Instagram, Philippe said: "It is with immense joy that I confirm that Jules' go-kart has been found!
"A huge relief for our entire family. A massive thank you to everyone who shared on social media, to the media outlets that relayed the information, and to the Brignoles gendarmerie for their efforts.
"Thank you from the bottom of my heart to everyone who made this possible. We still have a few go-karts and a mini-bike to find, but thanks to all of you, I have high hopes. Forever Jules. #JB17"
Philippe had reported that individuals had stolen multiple JB17 Forever karting chassis, including the last kart Jules raced.
Jules died on July 17, 2015, due to injuries sustained in a crash during the 2014 Japanese Grand Prix, aged 25.

His father posted on Facebook stating nine JB17 Forever karting chassis were stolen and urged the karting community to help recover them.
He said: "Apart from the value of the machines, it is the sentimental value that hurts us.
“If you see any JB17 karts in circulation, please let me know.”
Jules’ last kart was a KZ 125 ART GP model, and Philippe’s grandson’s mini karts were stolen.
