Ferrari's weekend in Singapore was plagued by car performance potential remaining untapped during Saturday's qualifying session, and brake related issues that ended up turning a P5 into a P8 following a post-race penalty.
According to Button staff at Ferrari are afraid to fail, since failure could ultimately end up costing them their jobs.
Speaking in Sky Sports F1's broadcast, the F1 world champion said: “You can’t be afraid to fail. And that’s what it feels like at Ferrari.

"I think everyone feels it’s easy to be pushed out the door, and it’s not a nice feeling to have.
“You need to have consistency throughout the team. It gives everyone confidence, and the drivers confidence.

Button then set his sights on the crucial upcoming season, 2026, and issued a hope of continuity at Ferrari.
He said: “So I hope that’s not the case next year. I hope that they see out the whole year together, because there’s going to be so much change for the first race, but also the 24th race of next year. So much is going to change throughout the year.

“So it’s a great team, and I think it has really good leadership, and you don’t get a better driver line-up than that, no?”
Ferrari dubbed 'biggest disaster'
Ralf Schumacher, former F1 driver now analyst, labeled Ferrari the 'biggest disaster', claiming that it was inexplicable that a team that had everything they needed to succeed could fail to perform as they do.
Ferrari are also reported to be under heavy internal strife, with the names of team principal Frédéric Vasseur and star driver Charles Leclerc being involved in two separate conflicts.
