Although the Italian Grand Prix has already been run, racing action in Monza is still set to take place at the iconic Italian circuit Autdromo Nazionale di Monza. Nevertheless the weather has forced F1 teams to change their plans.
Max Verstappen came out victorious from the Italian Grand Prix race weekend. After positive feedback on Friday, though, Red Bull still trailed McLaren on Saturday morning.
However, following a rather daring setup change in FP3 the Austrian team managed to turn it all around for qualifying where Verstappen was able to take pole by 0.077s, from Lando Norris. Then in the race, the Dutchman was able to capitalise on his blistering pace to take his third win of the season, and his thrid win in four years at the Autodromo Nazionale di Monza.

Pirelli test derailed by inclement weather in Italy

Nevertheless, F1 is not yet done with Monza, since Pirelli is set to conduct a test with three of the ten teams that currently comprise the Formula One grid.
Red Bull Racing and Aston Martin were set to run Pirelli's tyre testing programme today, as the official tyre supplier is still developing the tyre compounds that F1 cars will premeire alongside the upcoming 2026 regulations.
Racing Bulls was supposed to run tomorrow around Monza, but reports of inclement weather have forced Pirelli to move the Faenza-based team's testing day up a day. Thus, not two, but three teams will take on Pirelli's tyre testing programme today.
