Video: On board as Verstappen sets impressive fastest lap in Baku

Despite finishing the Azerbaijan Grand Prix without any points, Dutchman Max Verstappen set the fastest lap at the Baku City Circuit. Watch this lap from the driver's cockpit below.

On the official twitter page of Red Bull racing today the team posted the full onboard video of Max Verstappens fastest race lap in Baku. "Blitzing it at Baku," reads the team's caption. it

With an impressive 1:44:481, Verstappen managed to stay over two tenths ahead of both his teammate and Lewis Hamilton. Normally, this time would have been good for an extra point in the championship fight, but as Verstappen finished outside the top ten it will probably not be awarded.

The Red Bull driver and championship leader set the fastest time of the day in sector one: 36,911. In the second sector he set a time of 41.966, before completing the final sector in 25.547 seconds. Although it won't earn him any points it's certainly a great sight to see the Dutchman shining on the asphalt.
