Huge pressure on Sargeant's shoulders: Williams has no plan B

Williams has no plan B should Logan Sargeant not obtain his super licence after all. So there is a lot of pressure on the American to secure the necessary points in Abu Dhabi.
It was noteworthy that Williams announced prior to the United States Grand Prix that Sargeant will drive for the team in 2023. While there is a fairly good chance of Sargeant finishing in the top eight, scoring enough points to secure a super licence, it has yet to happen. The pressure is therefore full on the young American for the weekend in Abu Dhabi.

No plan B for Williams

For Williams, a lot also depends on it, as Jost Capito has, according to Motorsport-total.com that there is no plan B. Should Sargeant unexpectedly fail to obtain his licence, Williams will therefore have to reenter the market and see which drivers are left to take over Nicholas Latifi 's seat.
However, Capito does argue that there are plenty of alternatives who would have a super licence. Possibly Mick Schumacher will be released from Haas or, if he keeps his seat, Nico Hulkenberg is still available. The same goes for Daniel Ricciardo (if he wants to go to Williams) and Antonio Giovinazzi. So plenty of alternatives for Williams, should things still go wrong.
