Christian Horner is upset by Toto Wolff's comments on the floor of the RB18. According to the team boss there is no flexible floor.
From the Belgian Grand Prix onwards new tests will be introduced to see how much the floor of the F1 cars moves. Wolff said that during the investigation into porpoising it had become clear that some teams were allowing the floor to flex more than is in the spirit of the rules. Horner is now responding to him.

No impact on Red Bull

''That's total rubbish. Absolutely no issues or concerns on our floor," says the Red Bull team boss at Sky Sports. According to Horner, the new directive is there to reduce the bouncing of some cars and does not affect others. After the last few GPs, the Briton wonders if the new guidelines are necessary at all.
''Obviously we saw at Silverstone, no cars were really affected by it. Is it the duty of the competitor to make sure their car is safe? Or is it the duty of the FIA to ensure that the competitor runs their car safely?'' Horner concludes with a rhetorical question. According to Horner this is the responsibility of the team and not the FIA.
