Horner looks back: 'Probably the best year of F1 racing'

2021 was a spectacular Formula 1 season with the blistering title fight between Max Verstappen and Lewis Hamilton. In the end, the Dutchman crowned himself the 2021 world champion after a bizarre season finale. Christian Horner thinks this is the best F1 season ever.

After years of Mercedes' dominance, Red Bull Racing had finally given Verstappen a car to fight for the title in 2021. Every weekend, there was a battle between the two top drivers for victory, with Verstappen eventually winning. Meanwhile, the roles have reversed in F1, as now the Dutchman has the dominant car.

In the Extraordinary Tales podcast, Horner looks back on the phenomenal 2021 season. "What we had witnessed was probably the best year of F1 racing that it has ever seen in its 70-year history," the Red Bull team boss says in the podcast.
