Horner thought victory wasn't unrealistic: "He got problems with his tires"

A real horror show. That's how you can describe the weekend of Red Bull in Austria. Both Red Bull cars didn't even make it to the finish because of technical problems. The failure of both cars was extra sour, because Red Bull speed turned out to be the closest attacker of defending world champion Mercedes. Despite all the drama and criticism, team boss Christian Horner sees enough positive points.
"I think we were sharp in strategic terms. We looked strong and it's a shame we don't have the points to confirm this. I think that with the RB16 in the base we have a very good car".

Solving balance sheet problems

Despite the positivity, Christian Horner does know that there is work to be done: "We have to solve the balance problems that we knew during qualifying."
Due to the good speed of Max Verstappen and Alexander Albon, Horner didn't see Red-Bull's victory during the first weekend of the GP of Austria as unrealistic: "A victory was definitely there, given that at the end of the race you could see that Valtteri (Bottas, ed.) was having problems with the tyres". Hopefully Red-Bull can take the positive speed into next weekend. With the Austrian GP on the 12th.
