Hill adds fuel to the fire after Russell comments about Verstappen

A filmmaker with a soft spot for Ronnie Peterson, Gilles Villeneuve, Mika Hakkinen and above all, Tazio Nuvolari and Ayrton Senna, is also a diehard Formula One fan since the age of 4 (mid-90's). During qualifying yesterday, Max Verstappen seemed primed to take pole for the Canadian Grand Prix, but in the final moments George Russell clinched it right out of his hands, which he celebrated with joke at the Dutchman's expense, and it was right up the alley of former F1 champion Damon Hill.
Hill kicks open the door backing Russell's comments
During the on-the-grid interviews Russell quipped that he could be more laxed during the race as he had no penalty points restraints. "We're mates (he and Verstappen, ed.), so it's all good. I've got a few more points in my license to play with so, yeah, that's it."
