Viaplay showed Max Verstappen a video of him knocked over a Ferrari cone in Barcelona. However, the Dutchman revealed that went according to plan, he joked. Dutchman annoyed by cone in the pit lane for weeks
The Dutchman has been bothered by where the Ferrari crew have been putting their cone out for weeks, and decided to hit it today. Reacting to the image, he said: "Yes, that’s mine, yes. Because Ferrari always has it very far out, I said: ‘’If that happens again, I’ll completely destroy it."
He then added that he has already warned the Italians this would happen. "After the previous race, it’s been a few weeks now, I thought: ‘’If it’s there again, I’ll drive right over it. If it’s there again soon, I’ll drive right over it again'," Verstappen concluded with a laugh.
Something Verstappen was less optimistic about was the best result he could achieve this Sunday at the
Spanish Grand Prix. According to the Dutchman,
on paper a podium finish seems to be the maximum for him behind the two McLarens.
