The Dutchman has been bothered by where the
Ferrari crew have been putting their cone out for weeks, and decided to hit it today. Reacting to the image, he said:
"Yes, that’s mine, yes. Because Ferrari always has it very far out, I said: ‘’If that happens again, I’ll completely destroy it."He then added that he has already warned the Italians this would happen. "After the previous race, it’s been a few weeks now, I thought: ‘’If it’s there again, I’ll drive right over it. If it’s there again soon, I’ll drive right over it again'," Verstappen concluded with a laugh.
Something Verstappen was less optimistic about was the best result he could achieve this Sunday at the
Spanish Grand Prix. According to the Dutchman,
on paper a podium finish seems to be the maximum for him behind the two McLarens.
