Former driver and Sky Sports presenter Johnny Herbert has made very positive statements about Max Verstappen's class. Herbert thinks the Dutchman can already be considered one of the best F1 drivers of all time. He explains why.
"There was always the talk before he won his first world championship that this guy is the next big thing," the ex-F1 driver told GiveMeSport. This year, the Limburger is once again the favourite for the world championship. Herbert also doesn't actually see any problem for Verstappen when it comes to his possible third world title. "I think, for me it's always about consistency, and he does not make mistakes." said the 58-year-old former driver.

Now with Verstappen, used to be with Hamilton

The Brit does find it difficult to put Verstappen's current performance in a historical context. "I enjoy what he's doing at the present time but where he is in the pecking order is a hard one because the times are so much different than what they were", he said.
"I always enjoy watching him today, and I always get wowed at what he does today. Just as I got wowed by what Lewis [Hamilton] did only a couple of years ago,"
