Lance Stroll provided an update on his physical condition on the eve of his home Grand Prix in Canada, after having been at risk of missing the race.
Despite ongoing rumors about a possible withdrawal this weekend—after already missing the Spanish Grand Prix—Lance Stroll will be present as scheduled and won’t miss his home race in Canada.
The Canadian underwent surgery once again after a flare-up of the injury he sustained to his left wrist before the start of the 2023 season, but fortunately managed to recover in time.
Answering journalists’ questions about his current health condition, the Canadian replied: ''It's good to be here. It's good to be home racing in Montreal and wrists are feeling good''.

Stroll feels confident now

When asked how confident he feels about avoiding a possible new relapse, Stroll replied: ''Pretty confident. Should be good''.
''It was bothering me for a few weeks over Imola, Monaco and then Barcelona was just really brutal throughout the weekend and yeah, I got procedure done and drove this week and I was feeling pretty good, so I'm confident''.
''It's just the old injury that I had with it a couple of years ago. It just started to bug me again and yeah, so just got it sorted''.
When finally asked which wrist was giving him trouble, Stroll replied: ''That's my right one''
