Lewis Hamilton eyes an exciting season ahead, after 2025 not being one in terms of car development.
"Next year will be an exciting one, because there'll be lots of upgrades throughout."

Formula 1 will see regulation changes in 2026. Having spent nearly two decades in the competition, the seven-time world champion was asked in Baku how regulation changes were different over the years.
"It feels quite a bit different because of the budget cap. I remember in 2008, we were still able to bring upgrades in that year, we were still fighting, still developing the car right to the end," Hamilton said, reflecting on the first regulation change he experienced with McLaren.
"And, obviously, the next year's car was a disaster, but they would have to do those two in tandem."
"Then in 2013 again, I was switching [to Mercedes], so it's difficult to say much."

About the current season, Hamilton continued: "I would say this time it's not been as exciting because we've moved over so early, and so you're then just stuck with what you have for the year.
"So, it makes this season less exciting because you're not getting developments. We're just going to see out the rest of the year with what we have.
"But then next year will be an exciting one, because there'll be lots of upgrades throughout."

Hamilton eyes first Ferrari podium

The British driver is yet to finish inside the top three on a Sunday in his debut campaign with Ferrari.
Hamilton came close, finishing fourth on multiple occasions, but a podium is yet to materialize.
Notably, he remains the only Ferrari driver to win a Sprint race since the format was introduced in 2021, taking first place in Shanghai. He also finished third in the Miami Sprint.
