Lewis Hamilton and Mercedes can hardly be separated from each other anymore. The Briton has never even raced in
Formula 1 with any other engine manufacturer. In that respect, he is the absolute record holder, but his commitment to the Mercedes factory team has also been around for many years now.
By signing a contract for the 2021 season, Hamilton is entering his ninth year as a Mercedes driver. He is now on a par with some icons from the past in other teams.
