Lewis Hamilton has reported to suffering last-lap issues with his SF-25 Ferrari yet again.
The severely deteriorated brake issues he'd been experiencing since the start of the race in Singapore would eventually unravel Hamilton's potential P5 result in Singapore.
In the United States Grand Prix, the seven-time world champion told GPblog a moment similar in nature had struck him on the last lap.
He said: "I'm not really sure. I went into Turn 5 and it felt like I hit something and all of a sudden I had massive understeer and I thought that I had a puncture.

"I braked into turn 11 and the thing wouldn't stop and I was like 'jeez what's going on?' But somehow I managed to hold it on in the last couple of few corners.
"I had huge understeer in the last like I thought the front wing was broken or that something happened with the tyre it was off so close to the piastri in front of us.
During the 2020 edition of the British Grand Prix, Hamilton had to limp home on three wheels, winning the race in front of the roaring home crowd in a heroic fashion, a situation Hamilton saw the liking to.

Hamilton on the verge of a podium yet again

After the United States Grand Prix weekend Hamilton now holds unenviable Ferrari record of most races without scoring a podium.
Nevertheless, the Briton has showed he is capable of achieving consistent progression after turning a corner in his adaptation process at the Scuderia since the return from the summer break.
