A filmmaker with a soft spot for Ronnie Peterson, Gilles Villeneuve, Mika Hakkinen and above all, Tazio Nuvolari and Ayrton Senna, is also a diehard Formula One fan since the age of 4 (mid-90's). An avid researcher of the past of Grand Prix Racing since before it was even named F1, and with a thirst for knowledge of the ins and outs of the actuality of the sport, as well as for the technical aspects that define it, is a member of GPblog since 2023, where he has put his love of racing to good use.
FP1 for the Hungarian Grand Prix is currently underway and Lewis Hamilton is not even close to the top of the McLaren dominated timing sheets.
As Hamilton completed his first tour around the Hungaroring, he reached out on the radio to find out what was the exact gap to the top was. The answered left him in silence.

"Sorry, Norris another second ahead again, or seven tenths," asked a confused Hamilton.
The reply from the pitwall left him in silence: "Correct, one second."

The Brit followed up later assessing the overall behaviour of the SF-25 at the Hungaroring. "The car doesn't feel good."
So far it's not the best practice session for Hamilton.
