Hamilton: "In the end there's a big gap between us and third place"

Mercedes were the favourites prior to this weekend and although they took it easy on Friday, the true speed of the Mercedes came out during qualifying. Lewis Hamilton was just a bit too fast for Valtteri Bottas in the end and the gap to the other teams is big.

"In the end, it was a big gap between us and third place, but in the end, it doesn't matter. The fight with Bottas was tough. We pushed each other to the end. This is a great track to drive.

"Of course, we had that spider. Qualifying driving is about confidence. I don't know how I did it, but I managed to keep calm and those two laps in Q3 were really good."
