Lewis Hamilton managed to snap his podium-less streak at the Chinese Grand Prix. Some new features ahead of the podium ceremony also surprised the British driver.
"Wow, I've never been in here, so nice. It's a proper upgrade. I'm impressed."

The seven-time world champion scored his first Grand Prix podium with Ferrari last Sunday in Shanghai. This is the first time the Briton finished inside the top three since the 2024 Las Vegas Grand Prix.

Arriving to the waiting room before the podium ceremony, Hamilton said: "Wow, I've never been in here, so nice. It's a proper upgrade. I'm impressed.
"Wow, the sofa is even nice than the one in the press conference," he told George Russell and Kimi Antonelli.
Speaking to DAZN after the session, he added: "This is so fresh, so new. Just being on the podium, everything is new, all the colors are different, the waiting room is different, I'm like, 'oh, this is nice,'" Hamilton laughed.
