Lewis Hamilton has responded to the rumours that circulated about his current contract at Ferrari and his future with the Scuderia. "Normally, when you do a contract, it's usually the year before you start to talk about it."
- Lewis HamiltonThe seven-time world champion made the seismic move from Mercedes to Ferrari for the 2025 season, winning six World Championships in the 12-season span he had with the German team.
However, Hamilton's debut season in scarlet red has not materialised how many expected, finding himself down in P6 in the drivers' championship on 146 points, 64 points behind teammate Charles Leclerc and still without a Grand Prix podium to his name after 20 races this campaign.

"I have a pretty long contract," was the first response from Hamilton in the Sao Paulo paddock when asked about these rumours.
"Normally, when you do a contract, it's usually the year before you start to talk about it.
"I'm a little bit far from that right now," concluded the 40-year-old, refusing to make any more comments on the topic.
